AgStewardship Australia Limited has been established to develop and implement stewardship programs that reduce and manage waste for Australia’s agricultural sector. We are responsible for two of the most successful voluntary product stewardship programs in Australia - drumMUSTER®and ChemClear® _ which collect and dispose of used chemical containers and unwanted crop protection and animal health chemicals.

When like-minded people act on their shared responsibility, the results
  speak for themselves.

Our programs have achieved remarkable results since drumMUSTER was first established in 1999, benefiting the Australian public, our environment and future generations.

Since 1999, our programs have diverted more than 75% of packaging that would have otherwise gone to landfill, and safely disposed of approximately 388 tonnes of unwanted chemicals since 2003.

ACCC re-authorisation
To fund drumMUSTER and ChemClear AgStewardship needs to be authorised by the ACCC. The current authorisation is due to expire in February 2014 and AgStewardship has submitted an application to extend it for another 5 years. More
